Terms of Service
These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and WangYuYun. They set out the rights and responsibilities that apply when you visit WangYuYun, create an account, purchase and manage a subscription, complete an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play, install a client, or use the VPN network access service. Please read them before use; by using the service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance and Scope
By registering, signing in, paying, completing an in-app purchase, downloading a client, or continuing to use any WangYuYun service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms apply to the WangYuYun website and admin surfaces, and to the iOS, macOS, Windows, Linux, and Android clients, covering the subscription, node policy, account-sync, in-app purchase, and support services we provide.
We may revise these terms in response to law, app-store policy, compliance, or service changes. We will notify revisions through the website, email, or in-client notices and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use after a revision takes effect means you accept the new version.
2. Accounts and Credential Security
Please register with a valid email address, or bind an Apple or Google account, so you can receive sign-in codes, password resets, and important service notices.
Keep your password, codes, and session tokens private. Actions taken from your account are treated as yours or as authorized by you, and are your responsibility.
If you notice unusual sign-in activity, lose a device, or suspect subscription abuse, contact us immediately via the in-client "More → Tickets" page or by emailing [email protected].
To protect your account we may require you to re-verify your email, third-party identity, or other necessary information, and you should cooperate.
3. Lawful Use and Prohibited Conduct
WangYuYun is a VPN (virtual private network) app provided only for the personal or household needs of lawful internet access, privacy protection, and network security. You must comply with all laws applicable in your region.
Do not use the service for anything illegal, for attacks, intrusion, fraud, harassment, infringing others' rights, or distributing malware, and do not use it for activity prohibited in your jurisdiction.
Do not disrupt, reverse engineer, scan, stress-test, bypass, or interfere with our servers, clients, nodes, payment, authentication, or risk-control systems; do not mass-register accounts, resell access, scrape data, send spam, or automate abuse in any form.
For safety, stability, and compliance, we may rate-limit, temporarily block, or require re-verification on anomalous traffic.
4. Subscriptions, Traffic, and Devices
Each plan's node coverage, traffic quota, concurrent-device limit, and add-on features are shown live on the purchase page and in your account center.
Subscription benefits are for the account holder and the devices you authorize. Reselling, renting, or large-scale sharing with strangers is not allowed. Clearly anomalous concurrency may trigger rate limits or temporary suspension.
You can view and manage authorized devices in your account center, and revoke unknown ones with one tap.
We send renewal reminders before expiry via in-app, email, or push. After expiry some premium benefits will pause until you renew.
5. In-App Purchases and Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
WangYuYun offers monthly auto-renewable subscriptions. The current tiers and prices are shown live on the in-app purchase page. Prices are denominated in US dollars (USD) as the standard currency; the actual local price, currency, and taxes are converted and displayed by the relevant app store according to local rules.
Auto-renewal: unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically for the same period and price. The renewal charge is applied to your account within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage and cancel: you can manage or turn off auto-renew at any time in your platform account settings (iOS: Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Subscriptions). After you cancel, the current paid period remains usable until it ends and no further charge is made.
Free trial or intro offers: where a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial (if any) is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Restore purchases: after changing or reinstalling a device, you can restore an existing subscription with the "Restore Purchases" function using the same Apple ID or Google account.
Subscriptions purchased through an app store are subject to that store's billing, renewal, and refund terms; subscriptions purchased on our website or other in-site channels are handled under Section 8.
Auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are also governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement (the Licensed Application End User License Agreement / Apple Media Services Terms). The subscription name, billing period (monthly), and unit price are shown on the purchase screen; no charge beyond the displayed subscription price is required to subscribe, and no personal information unrelated to the subscription is required.
6. Apple App Store Additional Terms
When you download or purchase this app through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply and prevail for the App Store context if they conflict with other parts of these terms.
This agreement is concluded between you and WangYuYun only, and not with Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services for the app.
In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app (if applicable); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Any claims relating to product quality, third-party claims, product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual-property infringement are the responsibility of WangYuYun, not Apple.
You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and have the right to enforce it as such beneficiaries.
7. Google Play Additional Terms
When you download or purchase this app through Google Play, you must also comply with the Google Play Terms of Service. Subscriptions completed via Google Play are billed by Google, and you can manage or cancel them at any time under Google Play → Subscriptions.
Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app; refunds for purchases made through Google Play are governed by the Google Play refund policy.
8. Payment, Free Trial, and Refunds
Apart from in-app purchases, purchases on the website and in clients can be completed through third-party channels such as Alipay and WeChat Pay or via a support-confirmation flow; benefits activate immediately after a successful order.
New users receive a free welcome pack with a limited trial quota — no payment method required. The trial stops automatically at the end and no charge is incurred.
For subscriptions purchased through an app store, refunds are handled by that store (Apple / Google) under its policy; for paid plans purchased through in-site channels, they are generally non-refundable mid-cycle unless we caused a major service failure or clearly breached our obligations. You can stop renewal at any time; your account and unused traffic remain valid until the period ends.
If the service is unavailable for a continuous 24-hour period, we will automatically extend your plan duration or negotiate equivalent compensation.
9. Availability, Maintenance, and Changes
Actual connection quality depends on region, carrier, device OS, node load, route conditions, and force majeure. We work to maintain stability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime on any individual node.
We perform regular upgrades, capacity expansion, security patches, and feature iteration. Major maintenance is announced in advance where possible; emergency maintenance may not be announced beforehand.
Features in staged rollout, beta, or preview may change in availability, performance, and interface at any time and are not a commitment to all users.
10. Intellectual Property
The WangYuYun website, clients, logo, copy, visual assets, code, and service architecture are owned by WangYuYun or our partners and are protected by copyright, trademark, and related laws.
You may not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse engineer, or build derivative products from the service without our written authorization.
Content you submit through tickets, feedback, or device diagnostics may be used to improve the service, troubleshoot issues, and conduct data-safety audits.
11. Third-Party Services
To provide the service, we use third-party providers for cloud infrastructure, email delivery, identity sign-in (Apple, Google), payment and in-app purchase, content delivery (CDN), and security protection; your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms.
We try to limit the scope of sharing and do not actively sell or rent your personal information. How we process data is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Minors
WangYuYun is intended for users aged 18 and older with full legal capacity. The app is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
Minors may use the service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, who bears responsibility for actions taken under the account.
If we discover that an account is in fact used by a minor without guardian consent, we may suspend the service and proactively contact the guardian.
13. Suspension, Termination, and Liability Limits
If you violate these terms, create security risk, trigger abuse controls, refuse necessary verification, or harm other users' experience, we may limit, suspend, or terminate the relevant accounts, sessions, devices, or subscription benefits, and used fees will not be refunded.
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time; for subscriptions purchased through an app store, please also turn off auto-renew on the store side to avoid further charges.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," and we make no express or implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or absolute security.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WangYuYun is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses caused by network conditions, third-party services, device OS limits, user misconfiguration, force majeure, or unauthorized account use.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain liability; in those jurisdictions the above applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not affect your rights under mandatory local consumer-protection law.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-laws rules); where mandatory consumer-protection law of your region provides otherwise, those mandatory provisions prevail.
Any dispute arising from these terms or use of the service should first be resolved by friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit at the court with jurisdiction over the operating entity of WangYuYun.
